Our story
The most valuable thing in life is time.
AV Watches is a small, independent watch brand from Nicosia, Cyprus, built on a simple idea: a good watch should not cost a fortune.
A question in Milan
Our story started in 2016, on a family trip to Milan. We wandered through the city admiring its watches, and one thought kept returning: why are the good ones always so expensive?
We began studying how we could design and make our own watches. Over the following months, curiosity became a shared passion, and that passion became the energy to overcome every obstacle along the way. We got in touch with some of the best watch manufacturers we could find.
A brand of our own
A few years later, that simple question had turned into something bigger. In 2020 we created our own watch brand, one focused on real people, real moments and real value.
For us, watches are more than accessories. They are reminders of the moments we share, the people we love and the time we never get back.
We focus on three things.

We have never liked paying extra for a name. We believe in quality at the right price, and so does AV.
When you buy an AV watch, you buy it directly from us: without intermediaries, resellers or shops, and without huge budgets for advertising and branding. You pay for the watch, with no unnecessary costs added on top.
